Sustainable development

This template aims to do two things:

1. Operate as a guideline to prepare what you will discuss in the Palermo workshop on rubrics and portfolio
2. Collect descriptions of Formative Assessment Methods used in Citizenship Education activities.

Introduction
Presenting the activity:

a) Aims: learn how to participate in a discussion online, express an opinion.
b) target students:15-16 yrs old
c) level of education: 10th grade /secondary
d) target subjects or cross curricular: interdisciplinary (English, social studies, science, Norwegian)
d) involved competences (please indicate bellow the involved Citizenship Education Competences - choose all that apply):

Assessment

Text describing the methods for assessing the involved competences: a) self and peer assessment; b) rubric; c) etc. Examples should be included. If possible, provide this in English. If this is not possible, ask help to translate with the ALiCE partner organization of your country.

Information about final assessment given to the pupils:
You will sit in groups of 4 (one of each character) and chat on Teams where you discuss your views. In class! When class is over, I will read your chat logs and assess them. The feedback will be based on how you argue for “your” views, and how you communicate and interact with others, both on Instagram and in the chat.
