2. Description
The pupils are given the assignment to present a different culture. The method is to work in a team. The pupils must make research on a selected culture and choose how to present it in class. They can use various media or approaches, such as art, for example: theatre, multimedia presentation, short videos, mind map. The class is split in groups. They have limited time to get acquainted with the selected culture and its peculiarities, to take a closer view at a spotted tradition (ritual, dance or so). In their presentations they can focus on preferred element and be able to explain why.

Formative assessment is applied. It is done with the help of an evaluation sheet, which lists elements such as: evaluation criteria, evaluation objectives, extend and quality of implementation of activities etc. The sheet is used for self and peer assessment. The teacher provides feedback to all participants in the activity. It is followed by debriefing and discussion.
