2. Description
Don Calabria Institute origins from Casa Buoni Fanciulli, founded in Verona on November 26 of 1907, by the Italian presbyter Giovanni Calabria for assistance to poor and abandoned children. It is a national religious and laic body with headquarter in Verona.
Saint Giovanni did not intend to exclude any sector of activity where help was needed indeed, he dealt with several realities like dormitories, soup kitchen and all those who are the weak categories, and still today we continue to work on the wake of Saint Giovanni Calabria.
